Mitsui Kinzoku ACT has worked to roll out activities to reduce its environmental burden on a global scale, develop environmental management systems and reduce the hazardous substances on an ongoing basis.
Deployment of Environmental Activities Based on ISO14001
Based on ISO 14001, Mitsui Kinzoku ACT has developed a three-year plan to reduce materials that put stress on the environment and continually undertakes activities to restrain industrial waste and energy consumption.
Restrain the Use of Materials that Put Stress on the Environment
Mitsui Kinzoku ACT undertakes concerted efforts with customers to reduce hazardous substances such as surface treatment that uses hexavalent chromium has been eliminated and lead-free products are developed and produced.
In addition, we are aiming to achieve development of product without hazardous substances and capable to recyce.
Efforts to Reduce CO2 Emissions
Mitsui Kinzoku ACT is participating activities to reduce CO2 emissions by making its products lighter.
Environmental Policy
1. Environmental Principle

Mitsui Kinzoku ACT Corporation recognizes environmental conservation is one of the important challenges we face in the business activities as automotive components manufacture.  Further, we truly believe, engage and continuously seek environmentally conscious production activities are essential to enjoy mutual harmony and benefit with local communities.

2. Environmental Policy
In production activities at Mitsui Kinzoku ACT, (in areas such as the development, design, manufacturing, sale of products, services, and disposal, where we believe could have large impact on the environment) we continuously improve our environmental management systems through self-management by set and review aims and targets for each business facility, plants, and each division within what is technologically and economically possible.

Establish organizations, include affiliate companies, to actively promote environmental conservation activities and familiarize Environmental Policy and Purpose to all those who work at or for the organization.


We shall comply with laws and regulations, ordinances and other requirements which agreed with organizations concerning environmental aspects.

3   Promote resource savings, energy savings, re-use (containers, packing materials) and recycling (steel plates, plastics) while actively working to reduce waste.
4   Set environmental aims and targets, and conduct reviews to reflect environmental changes.
5   Conduct education and training on environmental conservation, strive to prevent environmental accidents and take appropriate measures in the event of an accident.
6   Disclose the Mitsui Kinzoku ACT Corporate Environmental Policy to stakeholders.
